Par Carnival Royalty: Par has a rich community history of crowning local carnival and fairy queens (with past queens dating back through local archives to the 1950s and 1960s) celebrated with local reunions and annual parades.
The Royalty is normally chosen and crowned to represent Par Carnival not only at our annual carnival but other Cornish Carnivals during the carnival season.
The Royalty Choosing Competition is usually held in March each year
