To make the world a better place for everyone, we all need to play our part in whatever way we can. Maybe that’s through volunteering your time or skills for the cause you care about, or perhaps it’s something as simple as attending a fundraising event. But you can also help make a difference by donating what you can to help generate the funds we donate annually to the community groups and organisations.

You might be thinking, why donate to Charity ? While we like to believe we can make a difference on our own by organising fund raising events, sometimes we can do more together. The way charities are structured lets us use money raised to directly help people who need it on a larger scale than we can as individuals. 

And if you have any concerns about how money you donate is used, you can always look at our Annual Report to get reassurance that donations made to Par Carnival are actively helping our beneficiaries. 

Reason For Not Volunteering ?

People often avoid volunteering due to time constraints, financial pressures, lack of meaningful opportunities, and dissatisfaction with volunteer experiences.

Time Constraints and Scheduling Conflicts One of the most common reasons people do not volunteer is lack of time. Many individuals juggle work, family, errands, and personal commitments, leaving little room for unpaid activities. Even retirees may feel busy with caregiving, health management, or daily routines, making it difficult to commit to regular volunteer work.

Volunteering with Par Carnival can be scheduled around your available time, an hour helping at one of our events to volunteering for a few hour during the whole event, we can accomodate all your requirements, as volunteers is whats keeps the Carnival Week going year after year, without Volunteers there would be no Carnival Week.
